A Silent Groove

from 5MP is Dead: 1995–2000 by 5MP

SILENT GROOVE contains samples from an audio tour created by 5MP in December 1999 for use during "2000 Years in Review," an exhibition at Toronto’s AWOL Gallery. The music in the middle section was created with the help of Bradley Davis with vocal overdubs provided by Lisa Ayuso. The first section was created using HammerHead 1.0 in 2000. The cello excerpt, performed by a musician named Zoltan, was recorded during "Snarkmuffin" (MMM002), an exhibition of the paintings by Charlotte Blake and myself in 1997 after the gallery had closed for the evening on March 16th, 1997.
